Certificate for structural components up to EXC2 according to EN 1090-2
A new feature in plant construction at Sommer & Strassburger is that we are now also allowed to weld structural components (such as large I-beams in the skid, see picture). The European DIN EN 1090 regulates the proof of conformity, the factory production control, the manufacturer certification and the CE marking for load-bearing steel components that are placed on the market as construction products. In future, the certificate will be a necessary prerequisite for the CE marking of your steel components.
Sommer & Strassburger is allowed to weld material group 8.1 up to design class EXC2. This execution class includes statically, quasi-statically and fatigue-stressed components or supporting structures made of steel up to strength class S700, which cannot be assigned to execution classes EXC 1, EXC 3 and EXC 4. Material group 8.1 according to CEN ISO/TR 15608 includes stainless steel 1.4301. Your advantage with us is that we can realise everything for you in plant construction, from frame construction to skid piping. We are able to use our vessels, pressure pipes of the MembraLine® line or our filter technology of the FiltraLine® product group and can thus complete plants particularly quickly and optimise delivery times. In plant construction, we can build structures up to 8 metres high. Ask us, we have decades of expertise in plant construction.
