Heat exchange – easy and safe

Our DTS heat exchangers guarantee complete separation between the product and the heating or cooling medium thanks to their double end plate, so you can be sure that your product will not be contaminated. Hygienic inner surfaces and removable heat exchanger heads give you the advantage of excellent cleanability and sterilizability. The aseptic connection of the head plates (according to DIN 11864) results in a design with very little dead space, thus you benefit from good drainability.

Contact us, we design each heat exchanger individually!

Modular plants for a renewable future

The team of Sommer & Strassburger is pleased to realize a joint project in the field of renewable energies with the new business partner INERATEC.

INERATEC is a pioneer in the field of power-to-liquid applications. Modular chemical plants use hydrogen from renewable electricity and the greenhouse gas CO2 to produce e-kerosene, CO2-neutral gasoline, clean diesel (so-called e-fuels) and synthetic waxes.

Founded in 2016, the company has already implemented large-scale power-to-liquid plants at German sites.

In the plant construction of Sommer and Strassburger, we are allowed to complete several 20” containers for INERATEC and provide them for a pilot plant in Frankfurt Höchst. After the start-up, this plant will produce 3.5 million liters of synthetic fuel.

The German government also sees the importance of this project to provide sustainable and climate-neutral gasoline, kerosene and other fuels and has provided support fonds for it.

In accordance with INERATEC’s motto “Fueling the Future”, we are proud to be able to support INERATEC on its forward-looking path.

Improved delivery reliability through targeted investments

We are very pleased to announce that in 2022 we were able to make significant progress in improving delivery reliability.

Targeted investments, including in modern production capacity control, will now enable us to identify potential deadline bottlenecks earlier and implement appropriate corrective measures. This makes a significant contribution to meeting your expectations in terms of maximum delivery reliability.

For a few weeks now, the newly organized Sommer & Strassburger order management team has been responsible for informing you promptly if, in exceptional cases, delivery dates should be adjusted.

Our colleagues Ms. Wächter and Ms. Weisenberger are available to you as competent contact persons.

Of course, the sales staff you know will be happy to help you with content and condition issues.

The entire Sommer & Strassburger team is looking forward to expanding the joint collaboration in 2023.
